The Mountain Cabin
The very first NAME Mini Weekend
was held at Unicoi State Park in Georgia in August, 2001. Appropriately,
our project was this mountain cabin.
This is the front of the cabin.
I made the porch swing.
Here is the left side, showing the
interior rooms.
I envision the cabin as a weekend
home.
The downstairs has a fireplace and two chairs in the living area, and a
hutch and table with benches in the dining area.
The loft is the bedroom.
I made all the furniture except for
a rocker by Nancy Johnston and the coffee table from LadyBug.
The bedspread was woven by Bonni Backe.
